Ducati Uno Design Concept

Concept design for Ducati, circa 1995.

The Ducati ‘Uno’ concept was based on the then Ducati single cylinder race engine.

Illustrated are images of the half scale model produced to demonstrate the concepts of the design which included:

  • A monocoque carbon fibre body.
  • Fully stressed monocoque carbon fiber chassis which incorporated the fuel tank.
  • Integrated coolers with force ducted airflow through the body.
  • Integrated exhaust.

This project subsequently led to the development of the Cagiva ‘Wave’ City moto project.
